We’re always on the lookout for new voices, especially ones far outside the Boston Literary Community. And we’re honored to bring April Valentine Anders to you.
April is a transwoman who is an aspiring writer and musician. When not indulging in her favorite past time which is collaborative storytelling, both the live action and the tabletop variety, April can be found trying her best at League of Legends, playing bass, or banging around on a drumset. Her big goal is to settle down into a career in her new life up north.

Reading with April Valentine Anders and Emily Taylor is artist extraordinaire, Zulynette.
A Chicago native who was raised in Hartford, CT., Zulynette is an alchemist. As a creative change agent, she uses art and poetry as social work tools to inspire others to heal and empower themselves. As a full-time artist, she does it all – performances, workshop facilitation, mentoring, commissioned work, producing and directing unique storytelling shows, and more. Her ultimate goals are to help and world domination.

Emily Taylor is a Cambridge-based writer and massage therapist. She’s been writing poetry since high school, and has more recently taken up fiction writing. Her usual topics are love & relationships, philosophy, spirituality, and fantasy. She also writes songs for her political punk band, Donald. for which there is always more material every day. She is passionate about activism, feeling your feelings with compassion, and the healing power of compassionate touch.
